(FSSIMS) Freedom Simulations Terms of
Service (TOS)
As a (FSSIMS) Freedom Simulations Member ,I Agree that...
1. I am at least 13 years of age. Federal Law in the United
States of America prohibits any website from disclosing, in
any form, personal information of a minor under 13 years of
age. (FSSIMS) Freedom Simulations acts in accordance with
all terms defined in the Children's Online Privacy and
Protection Act (COPPA) as introduced by the Government of
the United States of America . Due to the fact that (FSSIMS)
Freedom Simulations discloses our member's names on our
pilot roster, we cannot allow minors under 13 to become
members for our Virtual Airline. Under COPPA, a letter of
permission may be faxed to the management of any website
from the parents of a minor under 13, allowing the minor to
join. However, to maintain a certain level of
professionalism, (FSSIMS) Freedom Simulations has a policy
of only accepting minors who are at least 17 years of age.
To maintain fairness towards all members at (FSSIMS) Freedom
Simulations and in the flight simulation community, there
will is NO exceptions to these rules.
2. I do own a legal copy of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004:
A Century of Flight, or Microsoft Flight Simulator X.
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002 and some earlier versions,
along with any other flight simulation software, are not
officially supported by (FSSIMS) Freedom Simulations .
3. I will provide and maintain a valid e-mail address to be
eligible for (FSSIMS) Freedom Simulations . I acknowledge
that if at any time, I cannot be reached at my e-mail for
reasons including, but not limited to a full or non-existent
mailbox, my membership at (FSSIMS) Freedom Simulations will
be terminated Immediatly. I understand that a valid e-mail
address is required to activate membership.
4. I acknowledge and understand that I have 14 days from the
date my account is activated to fly my first flight with
(FSSIMS) Freedom Simulations .
5. I understand that I have a period of 2 days to activate
my account from the time an e-mail is sent out from the
(FSSIMS) Freedom Simulations Email Service. Failure to
adhere to both these conditions will result in my membership
being terminated without warning.
I understand that my application can be invalidated by
(FSSIMS) Freedom Simulations Human Relations Department for
any reason.
6. I understand that flight hours flown with other Virtual
Airlines or on VATSIM are accepted, up to a maximum of
one-hundred (100) flight hours credited to my account,
provided that I provide a valid link to my previous Virtual
Airline so that these hours can be verified. Failure to
provide a valid link will result in my canceling any
potential transfer of flight hours to my account. In the
case of transferring VATSIM hours, I understand that the
one-hundred (100) hour limit still stands, and that I must
provide a valid VATSIM ID corresponding to my real name and
the same name that I will use to signup with (FSSIMS)
Freedom Simulations .
7. I will conduct myself with professionalism, integrity,
and respect towards all members, staff, supervisors, and
management at (FSSIMS) Freedom Simulations , and the entire
flight simulator community at all times as specified,
defined, and described in the (FSSIMS) Freedom Simulations
Code of Conduct and Ethics. I understand that if at any time
I conduct myself in a manner that could negatively affect
the professional image and reputation of (FSSIMS) Freedom
Simulations or any of it's members , my account and
membership at (FSSIMS) Freedom Simulations can and will be
suspended or terminated for any length of time. (FSSIMS)
Freedom Simulations reserves the right to suspend,
terminate, or refuse membership to any member for any
reason.
8. I will not provide false information about myself to any
member of (FSSIMS) Freedom Simulations , on my application,
or on (FSSIMS) Freedom Simulations Forums at any time, and I
understand that if it is discovered that I have done so, my
membership can and will be immediately suspended or
terminated without notice. I understand that only full names
are accepted by (FSSIMS) Freedom Simulations , and that
nicknames or aliases are not allowed.
9. I allow (FSSIMS) Freedom Simulations and it's staff to
communicate with me by my registered e-mail address for any
reason. This may include general communication, policy
changes, delivery of the Newsletter, event announcements, or
any other correspondence. I understand that (FSSIMS) Freedom
Simulations does not participate in sending any form of
SPAM, and that any member found doing so is in violation of
the Code of Conduct and Ethics, and the account of the
member in question will be terminated immediately without
warning.
I acknowledge and understand that by the text Above that I
will follow these or Termination of membership can occur.
